What’s token?

The term “token” generally refers to a single word within a message. Therefore, one token is generally equivalent to one word. It is worth noting that at present, a message can contain a maximum of 16,000 words or tokens.

The​ ​total​ ​number​ ​of​ ​tokens​ ​is​ ​calculated​ ​by​ ​adding​ ​up​ ​the​ ​number​ ​of​ tokens in ​questions​ ​you​ ​ask​ ​the​ ​AI​ ​and​ in ​the​ ​​responses​ ​the​ ​AI​ ​provides​ ​to​ ​you.

It is important to note that when sending an email to [email protected], every word in the message will be considered a token, including previous conversations. To decrease the number of tokens, you may eliminate irrelevant past discussions, modify your inquiries, or send a new email containing all of the required and refined information from previous discussions.
