Canned​ ​Responses

Within​ ​this​ ​settings​ ​section,​ ​you​ ​have​ ​the​ ​ability​ ​to​ ​manage​ ​your​ ​personal​ ​boilerplates,​ ​also​ ​referred​ ​to​ ​as​ ​”canned​ ​responses”. These​ ​prepared​ ​responses​ ​prove​ ​to​ ​be​ ​quite​ ​useful​ ​when​ ​it​ ​comes​ ​to​ ​replying​ ​to​ ​messages.

Edit​ ​Responses

Displayed​ ​in​ ​the​ ​middle​ ​pane​ ​is​ ​a​ ​list​ ​of​ ​saved​ ​responses. By​ ​selecting​ ​one,​ ​you​ ​can​ ​view​ ​its​ ​name​ ​and​ ​text​ ​within​ ​the​ ​designated​ ​form​ ​on​ ​the​ ​right.​ ​Feel​ ​free​ ​to​ ​make​ ​any​ ​necessary​ ​edits,​ ​and​ ​once​ ​finished,​ ​save​ ​the​ ​changes​ ​by​ ​clicking​ ​on​ ​the​ ​”Save”​ ​button.

Note: If​ ​the​ ​fields​ ​are​ ​not​ ​editable​ ​and​ ​there​ ​is​ ​no​ ​”Save”​ ​button​ ​visible​ ​below,​ ​it​ ​indicates​ ​that​ ​the​ ​particular​ ​response​ ​is​ ​a​ ​global​ ​response​ ​defined​ ​by​ ​the​ ​system​ ​administrator.​ ​These​ ​global​ ​responses​ ​cannot​ ​be​ ​edited.

Create​ ​a​ ​New​ ​Response

To​ ​create​ ​a​ ​new​ ​response,​ ​simply​ ​click​ ​on​ ​the​ ​”Create”​ ​icon​ ​located​ ​in​ ​the​ ​toolbar above response details.​ ​Proceed​ ​to​ ​provide​ ​it​ ​with​ ​a​ ​name,​ ​enter​ ​the​ ​desired​ ​response​ ​text,​ ​and​ ​finalize​ ​the​ ​process​ ​by​ ​clicking​ ​on​ ​the​ ​”Save”​ ​button.

Delete​ ​a​ ​Response

By​ ​utilizing​ ​the​ ​”Delete”​ ​button,​ ​situated​ ​in​ ​the​ ​toolbar above response details,​ ​you​ ​can​ ​easily​ ​delete​ ​the​ ​currently​ ​selected​ ​item.​ ​However,​ ​please​ ​note​ ​that​ ​a​ ​confirmation​ ​dialog​ ​will​ ​appear​ ​before​ ​the​ ​deletion​ ​is​ ​finalized.

Do​ ​keep​ ​in​ ​mind​ ​that​ ​the​ ​”Delete”​ ​button​ ​may​ ​be​ ​inactive​ ​for​ ​global​ ​responses​ ​that​ ​are​ ​managed​ ​exclusively​ ​by​ ​the​ ​system​ ​administrator.
