Devices & sync
Manage signed-in devices and encrypt AI cache and preferences across them.
Devices & sync lets you carry encrypted AI summaries and personal preferences across browsers and devices on the same account.
Open settings
Go to Settings → Devices & sync, or pin Devices & sync in sidebar quick access.
Realtime sync status
When connected, Finmail shows Realtime connected — read state and lightweight updates can flow between your signed-in sessions.
Master password and encryption
- Set a master password (8+ characters) to encrypt AI summaries and personal settings before they leave your browser.
- Unlock to enable sync operations.
- Lock key when you finish on a shared machine.
Sync bundle
- Upload encrypted sync bundle — push your encrypted cache and preferences from this device.
- Pull and decrypt — restore them on another device where you enter the same master password.
Signed-in devices
The list shows each device label, platform icon (desktop / tablet / mobile), last active time, and This device for your current session.
Remote wipe cache clears encrypted local cache on a chosen device — it does not delete mail on the server.
