Plugin Sandbox
Use FX conversion, compound interest, and market pulse tools beside the reading pane.
When you open a message, the right rail includes AI insights and a Plugin Sandbox below (or beside) it. Resize the split to give plugins more space when you need calculators or market context.
How to open plugins
- Select a message so the reading pane loads.
- Expand the plugin area if it is collapsed.
- Switch tabs to move between official tools. Drag tabs when reordering is enabled.
Plugins run in the Webmail session — they do not replace the mail body or send mail on their own.
Official tools

| FX converter | Convert amounts with live spot rates. Opening a message can detect amounts in the subject, preview, or body. You can also long-press a highlighted amount in the body. |
| Compound calculator | Enter principal, rate, years, compounds per year, and optional monthly contribution to compute future value locally. Values are your inputs — Finmail does not invent rates from the message. |
| Market pulse | Browse a market wire of recent headlines. Requires Plus or higher; lower plans see an upgrade hint. |
Tips
- Treat FX and compound results as decision aids — verify critical figures before acting.
- Market pulse needs a working data source; if headlines are temporarily unavailable, try again later or check your plan.
- Third-party data-source imports (when offered) are optional; official plugins work without them.
