Secure Share
Share a read-only mail thread with external recipients via a password-protected link.
Secure Share lets you give external people (counsel, LPs, auditors) read-only access to a thread without a Finmail account.
Create a share link
- Open the message or thread.
- Choose Secure Share from the message menu or toolbar.
- Set an optional expiry and a strong access password.
- Copy the link and send the password through a separate channel (phone, Signal, etc.).
Recipients open the link, enter the password, and view sanitized HTML — they cannot edit or forward from Finmail on your behalf.
Revoke access
Revoke active links from the share management UI when your role allows. Prefer short expiries for deal-sensitive threads.
