Your mail-aware assistant for search, counts, drafting help, and quick analysis.
Ask Finmail answers questions about your mailbox in plain language. It is different from the command palette (⇧⌘K / Ctrl+Shift+K), which searches indexed metadata with structured results.

Ask Finmail works on your live mailbox — not demo or sample messages.

Prefer asking from Outlook or another client? Send to Ask AI addresses such as [email protected] — see Ask AI by email. That channel replies in your inbox and uses a separate Ask AI email quota; it does not search your mailbox the way this in-app assistant does.

Tips
- Be specific: sender, date range, folder, or subject keywords.
- For bulk actions (archive many rows, move folders), use list shortcuts or multi-select — Ask Finmail focuses on search, analysis, and drafting.
- If AI providers are degraded, check the connection indicator in the Ask Finmail header.
