Finmail Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to Finmail Webmail and related services. This page summarizes key obligations; the authoritative Terms of Service is published at /en/legal/terms.

Service scope

Finmail provides IMAP/SMTP-integrated enterprise webmail with optional AI-assisted workflows, compliance auditing, privacy gateway features, and team collaboration tools per subscription tier.

Customer responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate account credentials and enable two-factor authentication where required by policy.
  • Ensure outbound mail complies with applicable securities, marketing, and privacy regulations.
  • Do not attempt to bypass audit logging, Legal Hold, or secure share controls.
  • Verify AI-generated summaries and extractions before use for official tax, accounting, or regulatory filings.

Billing and subscriptions

Paid plans are processed through Stripe. Subscription terms, renewals, and refunds are described in the full Terms.

Inactive accounts and recovery

Unpaid legacy free mailboxes may be suspended after 180 days without a Webmail login; mail storage may be purged after approximately 365 days total inactivity while suspended (the email address cannot be re-registered). We provide reasonable notice before suspension; export important mail before long disuse.

  • First inactivity suspension: reactivation is typically free, but you must sign in within 7 days.
  • Repeat recoveries: we may require a Plus / Professional subscription, a one-time reactivation fee, or refuse reactivation.
  • Purged accounts: paid salvage only if a backup exists; abuse suspensions are not covered by the free inactivity policy.

See the Inactive accounts & recovery FAQ and full Terms §4.9–4.10.
