Introduction

Ranch Sauce Salad is a special type of Salad that is popular all over the world. It is just an alternative to a famous and most common salad “Russian Salad”. It looks like Russian Salad but it’s not. This salad is an American Salad and its roots also in the United States of America. This salad is a part of the European Region. Anyone who wants to try this on their own they surely make it in a very easy way because the recipe is so short and needs only 15 to 20 minutes to make this delicious salad. The taste of this salad is mouth full and mouth-watering. There are three main components and also some other ingredients added. There are two ways to make this one is you can make it with the combination of yogurt and sour cream while the other method or ingredients are Mayonnaise and buttermilk. Here I used Mayonnaise and Yogurt combination to make this delightful Salad. It is available throughout the United States of America and North America. You can easily avail this salad at supermarkets, and bakeries. This salad named ranch from the dressing of Sauces, because of the uses of some sauces. The word Salad means the combination of some vegetables.

Origin and History

Every kind of dish or dessert must have origin and history in their cuisine’s introductory part with their respective cuisine’s tradition this is the most important part of any cuisine. So, when we talk about the origin of this sweet delightful Salad (Ranch Sauce Salad) the place of origin of Ranch Sauce Salad is the United States of America. This Salad was firstly invented by Steve Henson in the early 1950s. Steve Henson shifted his self with his wife to Anchorage which is the part of the United States round about 1919 to 2008 and invented the dressing of the Salad. In early after a year the Steve Henson wanted to pass his time and he reached near the Ranch water valley when he created or invented the dressing of Salad. Now it becomes a popular and common Salad all across the world.

Ranch sauce Salad Ingredients

  • Mayonnaise ½ Cups
  •  (Yogurt) thick ½ Cup
  • Worcestershire sauce 1 tbs
  • Dried parsley 1 tsp
  • (Garlic powder) 1 tsp
  • (Black pepper) crushed 1 tsp
  • Onion powder 1 tsp
  •  (Salt) 1/4 tsp or to taste
  • Beans boiled ½ Cup
  •  (Cucumber) cubes 1 Cup
  •  (Tomato) cubes ½ Cup
  • Corn kernels boiled ½ Cup
  • Red kidney beans boiled ½ Cup
  •  (Baby spinach leaves) 6-8

Cooking Procedure

  • Take a medium-size bowl to add half a cup of mayonnaise, half a cup of thick yogurt, Worcestershire sauce, dried parsley, garlic powder, crushed black pepper, onion powder, and salt to taste into the bowl.
  • Then take a whisker and whisk it well until well combined.
  • Cover the bowl and you can store it in the refrigerator for easily 2 to 3 days.
  • Now take another bowl to add some prepared yogurt into it.
  • Then add boiled beans of half cup, 1 cup of cucumber cubes into the bowl, and mix it well.
  • Then add half a cup of tomato cubes, boiled corn kernels, boiled red kidney beans of the half cup into the bowl and mix it again.
  • Now add baby spinach leaves which are 6 to 8 into the bowl.
  • Now mix it well until well combined.
  • Now your ranch sauce salad is ready to eat.
  • Serve it to your family and your loved ones.
