Singapore – Spicy Chili Crab

Singapore is famous for its food especially because it has so many variations to water your mouth. Most of the dishes of Singapore served with Rice which is boiled or maybe steamed, but Chili crab is so tasty dish to eat in Singapore. Whenever you visit Singapore then the very first thing that you should try Chili crab, but if you like spicy food. It’s a warning because it is especially for Spice Lovers.

Most of the people like crab with rice but it does not enhance its taste if you eat this with rice. You can eat this with different sauce like

  • chili sauce if you want more spice
  • garlic sauce
  • tomato ketchup
  • apricot sauce
  • Chili garlic sauce

You can enjoy it at dinner or lunch. But people do not wait for lunch or dinner they just enjoy it when they are craving and this is the specialty of this dish that you can not think about before you eat and it gives you more joy.

About Dish

crab is the main ingredient of this dish so it has many things to think about it. Singaporean made it in spices but most of the countries eat this little fried and just spread salt and black pepper over it. Crab is not easy to make because you have to clean this neatly. It is poisonous if you did not clean it. You have to rinse it well. Put its creamy soft inner part out of there and put it in it during cooking.

Cut the crabs into pieces and balanced their taste according to your tastings like sweet, salted, spicy, or something like this. but its specialty is its spiciness.

  • Salt 1 teaspoon

  • black pepper 1 teaspoon

  • Crabs
  • yogurt 3 teaspoon
  • ketchup
  • vinegar 1/2 teaspoon
  • onion 1
  • butter
  • soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon
  • chili sauce 1/2 teaspoon


  1. Marinate the crabs
  2. Mix all the ingredients completely in the bowl.
  3. mix them well and cover the crabs over them.
  4. for masala, fry the onions and add all the spices.
  5. fry it well.
  6. serve it with crispiness.
