Pakistan – Fried Fish

Introduction

Fried fish refer to any fish that has been prepared by frying. Fish is fried in many parts of the world and fried fish is an important dish. Fish is a hot dish. This dish is originated in England and is an example of culinary fusion. Fried Fish appeared in the UK in the 1860 and in the year 1910 there were more than 25000 fish shops across the UK. The British Government safeguarded the supply of fish during the World War 1&2.Fish is an excellent source of animal proteins in Pakistan faced growing population and limited source of protein. Now day’s fish is a famous dish all over the world. Every City of Pakistan presents its own taste and culture and Lahore is the most historic City of Pakistan presents spicy and crunchy fish.

Traditional Foods

The Fried Fish has become the traditional dish in Pakistan. And in winter season the demand of fish increase in Pakistan. In winter days no celebration is completed without fish. Where ever there will be get together fried fish will be necessary there. In the evening people move to the restaurants to enjoy the fish as a dinner, today I am sharing with you the dish of fried fish so that you can fry it at your home in better taste. My recipe is easy to prepare in short time and best in taste. According to me it is the healthiest lunch or dinner. In Pakistan people love to eat Fish in the winter. This recipe will win the heart of your family members and guest who will eat it so try it at your home with the help of my recipe and win the heart. The detail of the recipe is given below in detail:-

Recipe

I have divided this recipe in two stages 1st stage is marinate the Fish and 2nd Stage is Fry the Fish.  

Ingredients

  • Fish 1 KG
  • National Fish Masal 1 tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Red pepper powder ½ tsp
  • Black pepper powder ½ tsp
  • Cumin powder ½ tsp
  • Garlic paste ½ tsp
  • Ginger paste ½ tsp
  • Gram flour (Besan) 200grams
  • Lemon Juice 4 tbsp
  • Coriander powder ½ tsp
  • Red pepped grinded ½ tsp
  • Oil half liter
  • Coriander grinded 1 tsp
  • Lemon 5 in pieces

1st Stage (Marinate the Fish)

  • First of all wash the fish
  • Put the washed fish in the bowl
  • Add fish masala, salt, red pepper powder, black pepper powder, cumin powder, Garlic paste, Ginger paste, gram flour, lemon juice, coriander powder, Coriander grinded and red pepper grinded in it and mix all well and keep it for 08-10 hours for marinate.

2nd  Stage (Fry the Fish)

  • Take a hot pan keep it on flame
  • And put the fish in the pan and fry each side for 10 minutes
  • Now the tasty fried fish is ready to serve.
