Cameroon – Fried Fish With Potato Chips and Salade

Fried fish with potato chips and salade is a food good for taking of a snack among friends, work colleagues and people we are close to. Fried fish with potato chips and salade has an eating process and procedure which comes in a form of an order. In order to eat and enjoy fried fish with potato chips and salade, you have to eat it in this order. To eat fried fish with potato chips and salade, you must first begin eating the food from the salade before eating the fried fish and chips. This is the order it has to follow. The eating of this food in this order to create an intense food appetite in the consumer. The consumer will want to eat fried fish with potato chips after eating salade. The amount and quantity of the salade does not matter much. What matters is that you follow this process, first eat the salade then you eat the fried fish with potato chips. This process and order of eating is called cleansing. Fried fish with potato chips and salade is prepared in the Center region of Cameroon.

Cooking method

The cooking method of fried fish with potato chips and salade is frying and washing.

Cooking Ingredients

  1. Five fresh fish
  2. Half bucket of raw potatoes
  3. Fresh tomatoes
  4. Lettuce
  5. Groundnut oil
  6. Maggi cube and salt

Cooking process

  1. Clean the fish by removing the inner parts of the fish that is not eaten.
  2. Also clean the external parts of the fish.
  3. Wash the lettuce and cut in small parts.
  4. Wash the tomatoes and cut it in small parts.
  5. Begin by frying the fish.
  6. Put groundnut oil on fire in a clean frying pan.
  7. Wait for the groundnut oil to steam well.
  8. Put a little bit of salt and maggi in the groundnut oil.
  9. Then after this, begin to fry the fish one after the other till you fry them all.
  10. When you are done in frying the fish, Put in clean water.
  11. Proceed to the frying of the potato chips.
  12. Firstly, remove the peelings off the potatoes.
  13. After removing the peelings off the potatoes, chop the potatoes in small parts.
  14. Mix the potatoes with a bit of salt so as to give it taste.
  15. Allow the potato chips to absorb the salt very well.
  16. Allow for a period of five minutes.
  17. After five minutes, you can start frying the potatoes so as to have potatoes chips.
  18. Prepare the salade.
  19. Wash the salade, then serve it unto a clean plate.

Enjoy your food. Do not forget to start eating the salade before eating the fried fish with potato chips.
